British Prime Minister David Cameron has a euphemism for British men who will have to admit to their wives that the family will be using the “opt in” request that Internet service providers will be required to foist upon customers using adult websites in 2014: a “discussion.”
Married couples are “going to have to have a discussion,” Mr. Cameron told BBC Radio.
“We are taking action to help clean up the Internet. One click to protect your home and keep your children safe,” he said in July. The regulation would affect roughly 19 million families.
In a show of support for efforts to curb online pornography, Google and Microsoft have rewritten software to block 100,000 search terms used by pedophiles to access illegal material, the London Evening Standard reports.
