CHICAGO (AP) - The Baltimore Ravens say general manager Ozzie Newsome remained in Chicago following Sunday’s game against the Bears because he was not feeling well.
In a statement, the organization says the team doctor “recommended that Ozzie not fly tonight.” The extent of his illness was not clear.
A Hall of Fame tight end, the 57-year-old Newsome has been the Ravens’ general manager since 2002.
The Ravens lost 23-20 in overtime to the Bears in a game that was delayed about two hours by rain in the first quarter.
