President Obama will speak about the Affordable Care Act at 11:35 a.m. Thursday, the White House announced.

Mr. Obama is expected to propose possible fixes to the law after it’s been plagued by a faulty rollout of the federal health care exchange and Healthcare.gov on Oct. 1 and news that many peoples’ health insurance plans are being cancelled.

“I think it can be done administratively. The president will offer a proposal today, is my understanding,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, said Thursday at the Washington Ideas Forum hosted by The Atlantic. “We have our own proposal, which we think is really good.”
