MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA (AP) - Australia’s Adam Scott says he believes he can follow Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson in becoming a dominant player at The Masters after his breakthrough win at Augusta last year.

Speaking Wednesday ahead of his defense of the Australian Masters at Royal Melbourne, world No. 2 Scott said he was eager to win a second green jacket after becoming the first Australian to do so.

Scott said, “I have the opportunity, I’m not saying I’m going to. I’m really looking forward to going back (to Augusta) and I feel I have an opportunity to develop even more there and become a dominant player like a Phil Mickelson or a Tiger Woods there.”

Woods has won The Masters four times, although not since 2005, and Mickelson three times.
