Steven Spielberg will direct a movie about former Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, according to the famed filmmaker’s studio.
Mr. Spielberg will direct Bradley Cooper in an adaptation of Mr. Kyle’s best-selling book “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History,” the Associated Press reports.
Mr. Kyle and a friend were killed Feb. 2 at a Texas gun range. An Iraq war veteran suffering from PTSD has been charged with the killings.
