Four people were stabbed near a D.C. homeless shelter Monday, police said.

The stabbing occurred at about 9:20 a.m. near the Community for Creative Non-Violence in the 400 block of 2nd Street Northwest, a D.C. police spokeswoman said.

Three men and one woman were injured, but their wounds were not considered to be life-threatening.
