A section of the Department of Labor’s website has been taken down, and hackers are to blame, various media reported Thursday.

“A DOL program appeared to be compromised,” the Labor Department said in a statement reported by Newser. “The website was immediately taken offline and the Department began working with appropriate internal and external authorities to investigate.”

The section of the website that was affected gives out information on health issues and concerns stemming from nuclear manufacturing, Newser said.

“At this time,” the Labor Department said, “there is no evidence of compromise to or loss of DOL information, nor is there any disruption in DOL’s services.”

The section of the website is going to remain offline “until DOL completes its initial investigation,” the department reported.
