A retired postal worker from Woodbridge, Va., must be the luckiest man alive, winning the lottery four times in the past few years for a total pot of $2.025 million.
Melvyn Wilson struck for the first time in 2004 with a $25,000 scratch-off card, the Daily Mail reported. A year later, he won big in two other scratch-card jackpots — the first, for $1 million, and the second, for $500,000, the Daily Mail said.
Fast-forward to the present day, and Mr. Wilson won again. This time, it’s for $500,000 in the Virginia Lottery’s Millionaire Mania scratch-off game, the Daily Mail reported.
“I’m just in the right place at the right time,” he said in the Daily Mail.
Mr. Wilson retired from his job with the U.S. Postal Service in 2007.
