The press is calling it Justin Bieber’s “week from hell” — but is there really such a thing? Anyhow, the teenage pop singing sensation did collapse at a London concert Thursday evening and was transported to an area hospital for observation.
He’s fine. Just a little tired, CNN reports. He received “oxygen and treatment backstage with the EMTs and the doctor” and went back out on stage, U.K.-based NME reports. He then finished his show and went to the hospital for treatment.
But that incident at the O2 Arena followed a week of concert mishaps and personal troubles, NME reports, with a headline that reads: “Pop singer’s week from hell continues.”
He apparently had his “worst birthday” ever on Saturday, he had tweeted, followed by a two-hour late appearance at Monday’s concert. That set parents in the crowd on edge when they realized their kids weren’t going to make bedtime.
Mr. Bieber was fined for that late appearance. Venue heads said he broke curfew rules.
