Alabama resident Eddie Maxwell thought he was simply emailing his state legislators to voice his opposition to gun control, but he was shocked and stunned by one reply, from Democratic state Rep. Joseph Mitchell.
“Your folk never used all this [expletive] to protect my folk from your slave-holding, murdering, adulterous, baby-raping, incestuous, snaggle-toothed, backward-a—ed, inbreed, imported criminal-minded kin folk,” Mr. Mitchell wrote in a return email, as reported by the Blaze. “You can keep sending me stuff like you have however because it helps me explain to my constituents why they should protect that 2nd amendment thing after we [blacks] finish stocking upon on spare parts, munitions and the like.”
Mr. Maxwell’s response?
“That’s not the type of reply I expect to receive from a state legislator,” he wrote, as the Blaze reported. “I’m not a racist and I find your reply to be especially offensive considering the position you hold.”
The emails reportedly were traded in January and February. Mr. Mitchell used his official legislative email account during the exchange.
