Robert Griffin III played it pretty safe with his NCAA tournament bracket the Redskins posted on their website.

He took no major chances. He didn’t have Florida Gulf Coast, didn’t have Harvard, didn’t have La Salle.

But as the tournament heads into its second weekend, the Redskins’ quarterback is in pretty good shape.

All four of his Final Four teams — Miami, Michigan, Louisville and Ohio State - are alive (he has Miami winning).

Seven of his eight Elite Eight teams are still playing.  RG3 had faith in Gonzaga, which fell to Wichita State in the second round.  Otherwise, he’s still good for that round.

For the Sweet 16, RG3 has 11 teams still standing.
