Two helicopters crashed near an Olympic stadium in Berlin, and initial reports indicate that at least one is dead and several more are injured.
A fire service spokesman could only confirm that two helicopters had collided, but local media are reporting that the crash took place during snowy weather, The Associated Press reported.
They were near the site of a police training exercise on football violence, The AP reported.
The Guardian reported in its headline that the helicopters were operated by German police, or part of the German police training. About 400 police officers were taking part in that training.
Emergency crews are on the scene, one spokesman said.
