Sunday night’s showing of “The Bible” on the History channel has set social media sites on fire, as bloggers and tweeters can’t help but notice: The actor who’s portraying Satan bears a striking resemblance to President Obama.
Glenn Beck was one of the first to notice the similarities during a preview of the show a few weeks ago, The Blaze reported. But after Sunday’s showing, plenty more took notice — and took to social media sites to voice their opinion.
“Oh my word … watching The History Channel’s The Bible,” tweeted one. “Does Satan look familiar to anyone else?”
And another: “Just caught 5 minutes of #TheBible on History Channel. … Satan looks like Obama – say what?!”
And one more: “Oh my! Watching the Bible on history channel. Satan looks like Obama. Whoever played Satan looks like Obama … Creepy.”
Some may see this as a tit for tat in television politics.

HBO took fire more than a year ago when it was caught using a theatrical head of President George W. Bush in its “Game of Thrones” series. The scene? A lineup of heads planted on spikes.
