Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has a new book coming out. In November, HarperCollins will release her latest, “A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas.”
It’s a look at the “overcommercialism” and “homogenization” of Christmas, The Associated Press reports. Mrs. Palin describes it as a “fun, festive, though-provoking book” aimed at motivating Americans to “unite in defense of our faith and ignore the politically correct Scrooges who would rather take Christ out of Christmas,” the AP reports.
The book is Mrs. Palin’s third with HarperCollins: “Going Rogue” and “America by Heart” were her first two. AP said financial terms on this third book weren’t released.
Mrs. Palin said, in a statement through her publisher, “It is imperative that we stand up for our beliefs before the element of faith in a glorious and traditional holiday like Christmas is marginalized and ignored,” AP said.
