Former Republican Fla. Gov. Charlie Crist is contemplating a comeback in the Sunshine State, but this time as a Democrat.

“Well, I’m thinking about it, there’s no question about that,” Mr. Crist said about running against Republican Gov. Rick Scott.

“I haven’t reached any conclusion, I’m just taking the opportunity to listen to my fellow Floridians and give it serious thought,” he told CBS Miami in Fort Myers on Saturday.

The former governor spoke about issues he would focus on, including education, the environment, ethics and the economy.

“Talking about how we can help our economy move forward, fortunately we’re starting to see that in a small degree and I just hope it continues.”

Mr. Crist spoke of his current job with a popular law firm.

“I’ve enjoyed being in the private sector; working with Morgan & Morgan is a lot of fun and helping people that way,” he said. “So time will tell, we’ll see.”
