Police in Chicago are investigating a human leg found on a Lake Michigan beach on the South Side.
A walker discovered the leg nearby rocks on the beach on Wednesday afternoon. Sources on the case confirm the limb had been severed at the hip, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
An examination of the leg is being conducted, and results could come as early as Thursday.
