Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy and now President Obama commanded the national stage from Berlin to put their stamp on global relations.
Mr. Kennedy coined the “Ich bin ein Berliner” line (I am a Berliner), which was recounted by Mr. Obama Wednesday.
Mr. Reagan delivered one for the history books, challenging Mikhail Gorbachev to “tear down this wall.”
