Police say an Ohio day care worker laced pancake batter with medicine to make the children sleepy.

The woman, Tammy Eppley, 37, was arrested on six counts of endangering children, The Columbus Dispatch reported. Authorities said she mixed medicines and supplements, stirred them into the pancake batter, cooked it and fed it to six children in her care, ages 2 to 5.

Her own child was allegedly one of the medicated, too, United Press International reported. Police were still investigating if others ate the drugged pancakes, UPI said.

Among the drugs were melatonin and antihistamine allergy medicines, police said. The day care was the Caterpillar Clubhouse, UPI said.
