Apparently, age is not an issue in the Terminator saga because Hollywood hero and former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, 65, has signed up to play the next in the series, No. 5.

“I’m very happy that the studios want me to be in ’Terminator 5’ and to star as the Terminator, which we start shooting in January,” the Austrian-born actor said, United Press International reported.

The fifth installment is being written now.

Mr. Schwarzenegger played the leading role of cyborg assassin in the 1984 hit, “The Terminator,” and in two sequels: The 1991 “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” and the 2003 “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.”

He skipped out of the 2009 “Terminator Salvation” to pursue a career in politics.
