Spain authorities arrested five Tunisians on charges of spreading terrorist propaganda on social media sites, including directions on how to make a bomb.
The men, who were living in Barcelona, were taken into custody after they allegedly posted on the Internet various videos of Osama bin Laden explaining how to construct bombs, and other videos of Islamic terrorists-in-training — firing weapons and even performing executions, The Associated Press reported.
The five had been under investigation for a year, said a spokesman for the Interior Ministry, in the AP report. They were believed to be radicalizing themselves to join the jihadist movement.
The arrested suspects were not identified. Since 1995, it has been illegal in Spain to publicly praise terrorism.
