At least 10 people were injured on Sunday in two separate attacks in Kenya, including a blast at a church in Mombasa and a grenade hurled in a crowd in Nairobi, eNCA reported.
Terrorists on a motorbike reportedly threw a homemade bomb into a Mombasa church service, injuring seven, while in Nairobi, a grenade was thrown in the Somali district of Eastleigh, police said, according to eNCA.
The attackers have not been apprehended, but Mombasa police Chief Aggrey Adoli told Agence France-Presse that police were doing their best to find them.
The attacks are the latest in a string of grenade blasts in Kenya, although it was not immediately clear if the two attacks were connected, eNCA reported.
Kenyan police previously have blamed similar attacks on Somalia’s al-Shabaab terror group, eNCA said.
