Three men, including one American, were gored by bulls Friday during the annual run through Pamplona, in northern Spain.

The extent of their injuries weren’t immediately clear, Raw Story reported. The victims were an American, 20, and two Spaniards, 31 and 42. All were taken to the hospital for treatment.

These are the first bull gorings of this year’s festival.

Three more people, including another American, age 48, were also taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries suffered during falls in the sixth bull run.

“A lot of people fell along the route. It was really dangerous,” said Alan Carpenter, 38, a banker from Chicago, in Raw Story.
