Sarah Palin’s 3.4 million Facebook followers and roughly 900,000 on Twitter will no longer be able to see the former Alaskan governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee on Fox News. The network has confirmed that her contract was not renewed on Friday.
Bill Shine, executive vice president at Fox News, told The Associated Press that Fox “enjoyed its association with Palin and wishes her the best.”
As of Friday, the former governor’s Facebook page, which she has historically used to communicate with her legions of fans, did not have a statement regarding the split.
