Most parents would cringe if they were accused of loving one child more than the other. The parents of Super Bowl XLVII contenders Jim and John Harbaugh of the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens were asked to answer the charge for a national audience.

Jackie Harbaugh was asked by “John” in Baltimore: “Is it true that both of you like Jim better than John?’’

Before the caller got an earful from a livid mother, the prankster was outed by daughter Joani — as her brother.

“Mom was ready to come right through this phone. I’m so happy that Joani recognized your voice,” said father Jack Harbaugh.

For the first time in NFL history, two brothers will face each other in the Super Bowl. Jim and John will meet Feb. 3 in New Orleans, but between now and then many more pranks are likely to be played.
