“Django Unchained” star Leonardo DiCaprio said he’s tuckered out and taking “a long, long break” from acting.
“I’ve done three films in two years and I’m just worn out,’’ DiCaprio said, proclaiming that he’s going to focus more on global environmental issues than acting, The New Zealand Herald reports.
“I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment,’’ the actor added.
Along with “Django,” DiCaprio recently filmed “The Great Gatsby” in Sydney and Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
The star was last spotted relaxing by a hotel pool Tuesday in Miami. Fla. but Living a life of leisure is not the only thing he will be doing. He said he intends to help the world through his environmental charities and organizations, though he didn’t give specifics.
“My roof is covered with solar panels,” DiCaprio said during an interview with BILD Wednesday that was published in German. “My car is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50km a day. That can be done with a plug.’’
