Rep. Joe Walsh — the former Illinois congressman known for bluntly calling on President Obama to “quit lying” in a 2011 video about the nation’s looming default — has found a new enemy: Karl Rove.

Breitbart reports Mr. Walsh is launching a Super PAC aimed directly at undercutting Mr. Rove’s Conservative Victory Project — seen by many in the conservative camp as an attempt to uproot tea party influence from the GOP. Mr, Rove steadfastly denies his intent with the Project is to tear down the tea party; but opposition has grown this past week.

And now that anti-Rove opposition movement has a leader.

“I’m filing the paperwork to form a super PAC to support freedom-loving conservative alternatives to @KarlRove,” Mr. Walsh tweeted earlier this week, according to Breitbart.
