Florida Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen is leading a Republican charge for stronger sanctions on North Korea, after that nation released a video about the destruction of the United States, to the tune of Michael Jackson’s “We Are the World.”

“I continue to urge the Obama administration to impose stronger penalties against the North Korean dictatorship, and to support our South Korean and Japanese allies who face this treat at every turn,” she said, in a Sunshine State News report. The video, she added, “illustrates Pyongyang’s hostile intentions and its willingness to undermined U.S. national security interests.”

The lawmaker, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is also calling for Mr. Obama to designate North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism, according to the report.
