Like father, like son. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul is following in the footsteps of his father, former Texas Rep. Ron Paul, and pushing for a bill that requires an audit of the Federal Reserve.
The elder Mr. Paul had spent years arguing for an audit, carrying his House message on the campaign trail while he sought the presidential office in 2012 — ultimately convincing rival GOP White House candidates Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney to join the cause, Politico reports. And now comes the younger.
He’s refiled legislation that would require the Fed to undergo an in-depth audit, Politico said.
