Italian judges have delayed the sex trial of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi until after elections because he has too many campaign commitments, they ruled.

Italy’s elections are Feb. 24 and 25; Mr. Berlusconi’s trial now is scheduled to start March 4, according to a Newsmax report.

Mr. Berlusconi became embroiled in the so-called “Bunga Bunga” scandal when charges surfaced he paid for sex with an underage nightclub dancer, Newsmax reported. That scandal, combined with the eurozone fiscal crisis, led to his demise as prime minister in 2011.
