A Wendy’s fast-food worker in Lovejoy, Ga., accidentally dropped her half-smoked marijuana blunt in a  cheeseburger she served to an unwitting customer.

Amy Sieber, 32, admitted to police she was smoking while she worked and inadvertently dropped the joint into the burger she was preparing and wrapping, Lovejoy Police Lt. Michael Gaddis told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The customer, upon discovering the joint, returned to the restaurant and called the police. TMZ reported the woman said she felt “food poisoning-type symptoms” and needed hospitalization.

Miss Sieber was fired for violating Wendy’s standards on “food handling.” The customer was given a free medical checkup and a $50 gift card, according to TMZ.

The incident comes as fast-food employees around the nation attempt to drum up public relations support for across-the-board pay raises, claiming they deserve more than minimum wage and should be paid at least $15 per hour.
