Rep. Carolyn Maloney of New York used her time during Wednesday’s House Oversight & Government Reform Committee hearing in a unique way: She criticized the Republican Party’s reaction to the failed Obamacare rollout by referencing satire as a “distinguished report.”

Pulling from a satirical New Yorker piece called the Borowitz Report, Ms. Maloney said: “The distinguished report went on to criticize some of my Republican colleagues for plotting to make the Affordable Care Act work, criticizing efforts by President Obama and his team to be flexible, making adjustments in their plan.”

The congresswoman also called referred to the column as a “distinguished comedic think tank,” The Washington Examiner reported.
