Coast Guard rescuers are scouring the coastline of Texas for two men who had gone on a sailboat trip, but never returned.

CBS News reported Patrick Holden, 27, and his cousin, Joe Squibb, 26, were called in missing on Monday by a family member.

“They were going to … sail a boat back from Port Aransas to Galveston Bay,” said Emily Holden, the missing man’s wife, to the Coast Guard, CBS reported. Mr. Squibb had reportedly purchased the boat and called on his cousin to help sail it back home.

Search and rescue officials have sent out helicopters and airplanes to scour the coast from Port Aransas to Galveston.

Mrs. Holden said to CBS that she last heard from her husband via a text that read: “Getting decent wind this morning.”
