Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid was not feeling well Friday morning and decided to go to the hospital, where he will remain as a precaution, his office said.

“Tests have been conducted, and everything is normal. He is alert, resting and feeling better,” spokesman Adam Jentleson said.

As a result, the Nevada Democrat will not be working as the Senate wraps up its pre-holiday work on Friday.
