Take it from Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, the admitted crack-smoker who dismissed any talk about a drug habit by saying he was drunk when he smoked. He has the secret to keeping women happy.

“Give ’em a couple thousand bucks,” he said, during his weekly appearance on the Washington, D.C., radio station, 106.7 FM The Fan’s “Sports Junkies.”

His logic: “Women love money,” he said, the National Post reported. Give them the cash “and they are happy.”

But Mr. Ford doesn’t just dish out advice without taking it himself. The New York Post reported that he regularly doles cash to his wife, Renata Ford, to keep the family peace.

“At the end of the day, she wants her cash, so I give her a nice check and we’re all happy,” he said, The New York Post reported. “She says, ’Honey, I want cash.’ “
