MIAMI (AP) - LeBron James is dealing with a stiff ankle. Frank Vogel was slowed after eating spaghetti.

Neither malady was bad enough to keep them from the Miami-Indiana matchup of Eastern Conference powers Wednesday night.

James announced about 45 minutes before game time that he will play for the Heat against the Pacers through a twisted left ankle. Vogel’s availability to coach Indiana was unknown until about two hours before the game, when it was determined that a stomach ailment wouldn’t keep him off the sideline.

James twisted his ankle Monday night in victory over Utah and said he got treatment nearly around the clock to play against the Pacers. Vogel said he had spaghetti for dinner Tuesday, though wasn’t sure if that or a simple virus was what struck him.
