House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi asked Speaker John A. Boehner on Wednesday to hold a classified briefing on Obamacare documents acquired by Rep. Darrell Issa — the chamber’s top investigator — that Democrats say could compromise HealthCare.gov’s security.

“I join my colleagues in requesting an immediate classified briefing with the administration’s top cybersecurity officials and the chairs and ranking members of the relevant committees to discuss the serious risks posed by the potential disclosure of sensitive documents,” Mrs. Pelosi, California Democrat, wrote.

Mr. Issa, California Republican and chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has exchanged letters and barbs with Democrats over his attempts to examine the security of the federal Obamacare website that serves 36 states.

The California Republican has subpoenaed contractors who worked on HealthCare.gov to make the case that administration officials ignored warnings about the site’s vulnerabilities and readiness.

But Democrats say he is trying to take down Obamacare and threatening the system’s security in the process.

“In other words, our concern is not simply with Chairman Issa’s blatant efforts to undermine the Affordable Care Act; it is the danger of a breach of security and trust across government,” Mrs. Pelosi wrote.
