LONDON (AP) - Luis Suarez of Liverpool is the top player in this week’s Associated Press global soccer poll, with Manchester City winning team honors.
City is 21 points ahead of Liverpool in Tuesday’s vote by a panel of international soccer writers after victories against Champions League titleholder Bayern Munich and English Premier League leader Arsenal.
City twice came from behind to beat Munich 3-2 and also defeated Arsenal 6-3.
Suarez scored two goals and helped set up the others in a 5-0 romp at Tottenham in the Premier League.
