According to journalist Bob Woodward, former Vice President Dick Cheney was the first to ask “What about Iraq?” during national security meetings in the harrowing days after Sept. 11, 2001. According to Mr. Woodward, this was the genesis of the “Bush lied us into war” charge. Well, Mr. Cheney is now on the public record as saying that the Obama administration deliberately lied about Americans keeping their insurance plan and doctor in order to pass Obamacare.

Unlike the “Bush lied” charge — which, although it was beaten to death for years, no charges were ever filed against President Bush — there actually is ample smoking-gun proof of President Obama playing to the gullible cheering crowds crowing, “If you like your health plan, you can keep it — period!”

I’m going to go one step further than Mr. Cheney, who implied that if Americans had known the truth about Obamacare, it never would have passed. I’m going to say that without the lies of Obamacare backing him up, Mr. Obama would never have won re-election. Therefore, using Mr. Cheney’s charge that Mr. Obama “deliberately” lied to pass the ACA, I charge that Mr. Obama defrauded the American people into voting for him.

Democrats are fond of saying that the way to fix the political process is through elections. For the most part, I agree. But this situation is different. We can’t wait another three years while this president inflicts more of this train wreck on the American landscape. If we want to save what’s left of this country before Obamacare runs it into the ground, Mr. Obama, along with the rest of his administration, must be swiftly removed from office. Then, everyone who was involved with advancing what they knew to be the lie of Obamacare should be charged with fraud.
