Fox News star Sean Hannity said he’s not upset about his television broadcast slot loss to colleague Megyn Kelly — rather, quite the opposite.
“Let’s just say in the end I’m very happy,” he said, on his radio show on Thursday. “That’s all I can say at this point.”
Ms. Kelly is taking over Mr. Hannity’s prime-time slot after she returns from maternity leave, according to media reports. Mr. Hannity declined to discuss details of his future, but did promise it was rosy.
He also said that the speculation on his career — and on his genuine thoughts of the Fox News decision — was tickling his funny bone.
“It’s pretty funny,” he said, Politico reported. “I love people speculating. Because everybody thinks they know everything and they don’t.”
