Police announced on Thursday they arrested and took into custody Erbie Bowser, a former Dallas Maverick ManiAAC dancer, in connection with the previous day’s deadly shootings of four in two Texas communities.

The specific charges are pending, police said, The Associated Press reported. The shootings, which occurred on Wednesday in Dallas and in DeSoto, also left four injured. Two recovering from their wounds are boys, aged 11 and 13, AP reported.

Within a span of about 15 minutes, the shooter entered one home and unloaded a gun at the occupants and then drove down the road and did the same at another house, AP reported. Investigators arrested Mr. Bowser at the second crime scene, but have not released any information that could explain his relationship with the victims.

CBS reported, however that Mr. Bowser was searching both homes for his ex-girlfriend.
