Hollywood hothead Alec Baldwin lost his temper yet again this week, slamming and pinning a photographer onto the hood of his car and chastising the paparazzo for trying to take a picture of his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, who just gave birth.

The 55-year-old actor then took to Twitter to rant on the rift.

“I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over,” Mr. Baldwin tweeted in an apparent reference to the George Zimmerman-Trayvon Martin court case.

The incident began when the photographer approached Mr. Baldwin in the street, Breitbart reported. Mr. Baldwin’s wife, 29, ducked into a nearby store while took matters into his own hands.

Breitbart reported that the photographer wasn’t seriously injured and wouldn’t press charges. But the negative publicity for Mr. Baldwin comes as he’s about to assume a talk-show-host position at MSNBC. The show, in the discussion and production stages, is aimed at giving the actor a platform to discuss his political views.
