Soon after Larry Sanders signed a four-year extension with the Milwaukee Bucks, worth about $44 million, the NBA star decided to celebrate with a fresh tattoo. The only problem? Tattoos don’t have spellcheck.

Sanders posted a photo to his Instagram account on Sunday, apparently signing the contract, with the caption: “Now just wait on it.”

Soon after, the NBA player posted a photo of a hand tattoo that said, “Ask,” with the caption: “Sometimes it just this simple [sic].”

Another photo showed a second hand tattoo that read, “Recieve.”

But every Charlie Brown lover knows the cardinal rule: I before E, except after C.

Mr. Sanders posted another photo with a caption that said, “Ummmmmmmmm … ain’t worried bout nuthin [sic],” likely in response to the flood of comments pointing out his mistake, CBS Sports reported.

Before signing on with the Bucks in 2010, Sanders played power forward for the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams. As a junior he averaged 14.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks.
