Lamar Odom is heavily addicted to crack cocaine, and his family is fearing the worst now that the NBA star has been missing for more than 72 hours, TMZ first reported.
Sources close to Mr. Odom and Khloe Kardashian are afraid he’s hiding out on a crack binge.
The celebrity gossip site reported Friday that Miss Kardashian threw Mr. Odom out of the house Wednesday after attempting an intervention, which he firmly rejected.
Mr. Odom, of the Los Angeles Clippers, has been battling addiction for at least two years. He reluctantly agreed to rehab about a year ago but quit after three weeks, TMZ said.
Sources told the site that Mr. Odom has gone on a downward spiral since basketball season ended and that his addiction is a big reason why his marriage has suffered.
