BRISTOL, TENN. (AP) - Ricky Stenhouse Jr. better keep his eye on Bruton Smith.
The billionaire track owner has presented Danica Patrick with not one, but two pairs of designer shoes, one-upping Stenhouse in the gift-giving department. Stenhouse has previously only gifted his girlfriend a pair of cowboy boots.
Patrick said Friday that Smith, owner of Speedway Motorsports Inc., gave her a pair of Jimmy Choo heels at New Hampshire Speedway to go with the pair of Y. Jaiselle heels he presented to her in 2010.
“Sometimes it’s just good to be a girl,” she said.
While Patrick has gotten a lot of wear out of the first pair of heels Smith gave her, she’s yet to wear the new shoes from Smith.
“They are very fancy, very dressy,” she said. “I haven’t found the right occasion for them. I thought I was going to wear them during the ESPY’s but it didn’t match my dress right. I will find a home for them _ I promise you that.”
