Hillary Rodham Clinton received some strong support for a 2016 White House run from a conservative camper on Thursday — none other than Barbara Bush, the 31-year-old daughter of former President George W. Bush.
Mrs. Clinton is “unbelievably accomplished,” and should definitely launch a campaign, Miss Bush said, Politico reported.
She made the statements during an interview with People magazine, which is due to publish the full article in late August.
“I don’t know who she’d be running against,” Miss Bush added, Politico reported. She also clarified that she wasn’t saying she’d actually vote for the former first lady. Miss Bush supports gay marriage, but touts no political affiliation.
Meanwhile, her uncle, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, has been mulled as a potential strong Republican candidate for the White House in 2016.
