“Bachelor” star Gia Allemand, and the girlfriend of NBA player Ryan Anderson, was found hanged in an apparent suicide in her home Monday night, TMZ reported.
Mr. Anderson found her unconscious and immediately called the police.
Earlier reports said the 29-year-old model, who appeared in the show’s 14th season, had been hospitalized in New Orleans since Monday following what her family called a serious emergency medical event. It was also reported that Miss Allemand had been placed on life support, TMZ said.
NBA player Ryan Anderson, of the New Orleans Pelicans, was reportedly at her side when she died. People close to Miss Allemand said she had been extremely upset about her rocky relationship with Mr. Anderson, TMZ reported.
