President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, stopped for 90 minutes of cocktail partying at the Massachusetts home of NPR special correspondent Michele Norris on Monday evening.

The pool report listed the Obamas’ moves through West Tisbury, Mass. It read, the Weekly Standard reported: “Motorcade was on the move again at 5:46 p.m. About 10 minutes later POTUS arrived at a cocktail party at the home of Broderick Johnson, who was an adviser on the Obama 2012 campaign and his wife, Michele Norris Johnson. FLOTUS is also at the cocktail party.”

Ms. Norris works for National Public Radio. Mr. Johnson is a lobbyist, the Weekly Standard reported.

The pool report also said: “The Obamas spent over an hour and a half at the cocktail party. The working press was left outside to wait in the vans.”
