NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - The New Jersey Devils have acquired forward Steve Sullivan from the Phoenix Coyotes for a seventh-round pick in the 2014 NHL draft.

Devils President and General Manager Lou Lamoriello announced the deal Wednesday afternoon.

Sullivan has five goals and seven assists in 33 games with Phoenix this season. The 15-year NHL veteran signed with the Coyotes a free agent last July.

Sullivan was drafted by the Devils in 1994 and played with them from 1995-97. He has 288 goals and 454 assists in his career.
