Hyundai Motor and its affiliate, Kia Motors, have recalled a combined 1.9 million cars and sport utility vehicles from U.S. markets for a couple of glitches that federal safety officials say could increase the risk for crash.

Hyundai is recalling the most — 1.7 million cars and SUVs, The Associated Press reported.

It’s recalling an additional 186,254 Elantras, built between 2011 and 2013, the BBC reported. Kia is recalling 623,658. The model years for all the recalls range between 2007 and 2011, BBC said.

The manufacturers need to repair a problem with a switch that left as is, could put drivers at risk of crash, said the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the BBC report.

The recall is to fix roof liners, too. NHTSA officials say an adhesive is needed in order to keep liners on certain models from flying off during air bag deployments, BBC reported.
