A whirl of speculation is surrounding former representative Anthony Weiner who resigned from Congress in 2011 after he accidentally sent a private photo to a woman publicly over Twitter.

And while he has signaled he’s preparing for a New York City mayoral bid, the former representative — married to Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin — told RNN’s Dominic Carter Wednesday that he can’t rule out the possibility that more photos will surface in the future.

“If reporters want to go try to find more, I can’t say that they’re not going to be able to find another picture, or find another person who may want to come out on their own,” Mr. Weiner said. “But I’m not going to contribute to that. The basics of the story are not going to change. It’s behind me. It was a huge mistake.”

Mr. Weiner spent $100,000 on polling and research in March and opened up a new Twitter account Tuesday, signaling the former rep is preparing to run for mayor.
